Art and Design Summer Show 26

Art and Design Summer Show 2024

Art & Design Summer Show 2024

Buckinghamshire New University’s annual Art & Design Summer Show will be open to the public from 14 June - 19 June 2024.

Please join us to celebrate the creativity, award-winning talent, innovation and individuality of our final year Art & Design students by visiting our free exhibition at our High Wycombe campus. The show is a great opportunity to see the calibre of work our students produce and to meet the next generation of talent.

The exhibition will be in the Events Hall on our High Wycombe campus. Please arrive at our High Wycombe Reception where our Student Ambassadors will be ready to accompany you to the show. It is also an opportunity for you to see our AA2A artists showcase their work in progress as part of the exhibition.

This year, we are delighted that the Arts Society (Thame) has kindly sponsored student awards totalling £500 for creative excellence at the Summer Show.

We look forward to seeing you!

I’m incredibly proud that BNU continues to host our annual Summer Show in physical form, as it represents not just a culmination of all the hard work our students have put into their creative practice (and the unwavering support their tutors have dedicated to them), it is also an amazing celebration of their achievement and well-deserved success!

Every year a student is selected to design the artwork and graphics for the annual Summer Show. This year, we're delighted to put the spotlight on Jack Parr-Mckivett, a third year BA (Hons) Graphic Design student, and soon to be graduate.

Jack's final major project is titled 'Quest'. Quest is an organisation primarily aspiring to encourage users to embrace adventure and expand their experiences. This is achieved via ‘Quest points’ located across the United Kingdom picked to intrigue and engage Quest users that are both local residence and long-distance explorers.
